Every year when we do the 150 Beds for 150 Kids Initiative, we purchase extra beds for emergency situations that may arise. When we learned of a family who lost everything in a fire, we were able to spring into action and help a single mom and her two children. When we met the mom, all she kept saying was, “As long as my kids are okay, I’m okay.”
Up until March 3rd they were staying in a hotel, but that all changed on March 4th when they moved into their new home. Thanks to your support of Bridging RVA, this mother and her two children received brand new beds for their home and gift cards to purchase new clothes and other household items. We belong to one another!
